To ensure things go smoothly, please read these notes before you embark on your first firmware update:
The update process will place your Atrium into 'bootloader mode', or Device Firmware Update (DFU) mode, which will make it unresponsive until it reboots. Once the update begins, do not unplug Atrium until you are told its safe to do so.
Update to latest. Update from file and choose the .dfu file you want to load via the dialog box that pops up. Click the second Update button.Because of browser security protocols, you now will be prompted to connect to the DFU'd Atrium, which will appear as DFU in FS Mode. If you do not wish to proceed, click 'Cancel' and disconnect your Atrium – cycle its power to return to its standard operation.
Once you connect to the DFU'd Atrium, you must proceed with the rest of the firmware flashing process. Stay on this tab as the process completes, wait for confirmation that the firmware has flashed, and only disconnect when the Clerk tells you it's now safe to.
